This week, our 6th and 7th grade Wolves were given information about their opportunities for courses for next year. On Monday, your student will be coming home with a course selection sheet. The video links below talk about the different course offerings your child has the option to take.
Course selection will be done in Skyward this year. This is a new process that our Wolves will learn about on Monday, and the counselors will be available to help your student next week. We will send all information to you regarding course selection directions via email and in Skyward on Monday. If you are not receiving emails from school, please check your skyward information and verify that the email in Skyward is correct.

We will start with a short presentation in the Black Gym, followed by optional breakout sessions, meet and greet with staff members, tour the campus, and get familiar with the wolf way. Course selection season is upon us! Current 8th graders will meet with their high school counselor on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 to review their course selection sheets. Current 6th and 7th grade students will learn about their course options and new course selection process from counselors on January 31, 2025 and February 3, 2025. Please check your email for more detailed information for your student. If you are not receiving emails, please verify that your information is correct in Skyward.

8th grade students are eligible to compete in the Bobby Bragan Scholarship program. Two finalists are selected from a 500-700 word essay from over 200 Middle Schools for a $2500.00 college scholarship. Your CTMS 8th grader can pick up the application form in the counseling office or can be digitally requested via email. All submissions are due by February 19 to the CTMS Counselors. The two CTMS finalists will be notified the first week of March. This is a wonderful opportunity for your student. If you have any questions, please contact your child's counselor.
On Wednesday, four lucky auction winners spent Wolf Time with Dr. Otto, her two huskies, and Officer Huski! What a memorable way to support the pack! Thank you for participating in the PTA Thanks for Giving Auction!
Howl to 7th Grade Girls Basketball for earning first place at the 7th Grade Middle School Division of the NTX Madness Basketball Tournament this weekend!!!!
Howl to Apex Entities, the CTMS robotics team, for representing the pack at the FLL, First Lego League, Qualifier Tournament in Cleburne on Saturday! For the second year in a row, this team has competed together with our wonderful parent volunteers coaching.
Howl for earning the 1st place Innovation Award and the 2nd place Robot Performance with the 2nd Highest Robot Score!!!!!
We will know early next week if they move on to district. The pack is rooting for Apex Entities!
